Our Vision & Mission

To create stimulating learning environment and enrich the passionate and sustainable focus on collecting, preserving and distributing the knowledge inspire and enrich the learners. Our vision is to developing a leader in imagining, creating, facilitating and realizing the promise of the academic & industrial research and teaching and enhancing the quality of life through reading.

Objective:

• To develop wide reading habits through easy accessibility of reading materials, orientation, poster presentation and exhibitions.
• To lend a hand and guide the student community with appropriate information that could create a forward thinking, dynamic organization that is responsive and flexible in order to achieve its goals and objectives.
• Deliver right information at right time in right manner.
• Continue to improve the library’s effectiveness through systematic, ongoing outcome assessment.

The Eknath B. Madhavi Senior College of Arts, Commerce and Science library came into existence with establishment of the college in the year 2004. Our Library has collection of more than 5000 books and research journals and popular magazines of general interest, question papers along with project collection.

Rules & Regulation

• Only one book can be borrowed against the Library Card for a period of 7 days
• The Library Card will be returned only after the book issued against it is returned in good condition.
• A fine of Rs.1/- per day will be charged for overdue books.
• Books and journals must be returned on before the due date.
• Noisy conversation is not allowed inside the library
• Food and beverages not allowed in the library.
• Keep your cell phone in silence or off mode inside the library.
• It is desirable to use library resources i.e. books & magazines carefully.
• Your cooperation with library staff and security personnel is highly appreciated.
• Bring your Card ID at the time of receiving and submitting the books. A book will be issued only after Library Card has been handed over to the person at the book circulation counter.
• Do not write on, damage or mark any book belonging to the library.
• The reader should check the books before borrowing to ensure that these are not damaged. If a book is found to be damaged or certain pages are missing, the borrower should get this statement recorded on the book, otherwise he/she shall be held responsible for the damage, discovered at the time of returning the books.

LIBRARY TIME: 8 AM to 5 PM

HOLIDAY: Sundays and other public holidays.
