About Institute

The sapling of Shri Sadguru Vamanbaba Maharaj Shikshan Prasarak Mandal was firmly planted in 1980 by Hon’ble Chirman Late Shri. Baburao Raghunath Madhavi (Baba) and Hon’ble Secretary Mr.Eknath Baburao Madhavi. The sapling blossomed into a full grown tree catering to the educational needs of about 4000 students from Pre-primary School to Junior College. By virtue of natural growth a full fledged Senior College was started in the Academic Year 2004-2005.

Eknath B. Madhavi Senior College of Arts, Commerce and Science is affiliated to University of Mumbai. The College has qualified and competent teaching staff and adequate Non-teaching staff. We are expanding our premises for providing better amenities and facilities. The Institution is guided by the Principles of purity; truth, charity and peace of Shri Sadguru Vamanbaba Maharaj Shikshan Prasarak Mandal.

The Institution aims at providing the students an opportunity to develop an integrated personality, to foster a spirit of free thinking and above all to inculcate love for God, love for humanity and love for truthful living. These indeed are the true teachings of our Management and we believe in National Unity and Integrity. The college provides all its students with a friendly and supportive study environment high teaching standards, excellent facilities and support services. Our reasonable size affords students an intimacy of contact with the faculty.

Eknath B. Madhavi Senior College of Arts, Commerce and Science started functioning in the academic year 2004- 05 with Commerce and Arts faculty. Science faculty was added in the year 2005-06. Considering the growing demand for IT related courses, applied and received permission from Mumbai University to start BSc ( IT) course from 2010- 11.

The Institution has grown as a Post Graduate College when MCom ( Advanced Accountancy) was introduced in the year 2012.

With an intention of providing increased knowledge, the college organises various seminars, workshops, training programmes and special lecture series etc.

The college also celebrates all kinds of traditional and cultural festivals to inculcate spiritual and cultural integrity among students.

We hope we will be able to contribute much more in the field of education in the years to come.
